January blues


Baubles, tinsel and twinkly little trinkets are finally put away in their boxes for another year.
Right now  it seems that the peace and joy of the season was packed away with them.

    The Hot Cross Buns are in the shops here. No time to be maudlin about Christmas, buy up big for Easter. Why it's only about 3 months away.

    Seriously, yes, Christmas has become a ritual rather than a festival.

    i know those post-christmas blues. my stuff will come down this weekend.

    make some paper snowflakes, pretty it up a bid.

    or just have a big tear out of de-cluttering which is what i'm doing, brutal and uplifting at the same time...

    oh, think that might be a stone for today.....
